Triumph Bonneville Has Arrived
Dad got a steal on a '69 Triumph Bonneville from a guy out in Cali. Closed the deal a week ago and it got delivered already today. Everything on the whole bike is fully rebuilt. It has a kickstart tranny, Paughco Springer front end, wassel tank and rear fender. The paint really sets it off and matches the old school look of the bike. The coolest feature is the skinny rear end with a 19 inch rear wheel wrapped by an avon. Here's some pics of the delivery, more to come:

Following up to the Wharton Freedomfest Auto/Bike Show this past weekend. Dad rode a total round trip of 800 miles on the bike going from Dallas to Austin to El Campo and back. Definnitely was the farthest traveler at the show. I forgot the camera so I didn't get any pics of Brandon's restored '69 Charger, but Jenna Zabodyn took some awesome pics of the bikes. Brandon took first place in the 60s class and also first place in the Viewers Choice where each participant votes on their favorite in show. That car is ridiculous. Dad got ripped off in his Touring class. Another street glide took honors with a bike that wasn't in the same league. The Sporty took 2nd place.

It is Finished
Got to celebrate Cass's shower and the completion of the Sporty with family this weekend. Pictures didn't give it justice, it was too much to take in at first glance when dad arrived with the bike on the trailer. The candy paint matches the power this tiny bike puts out. Its hard to open up the throttle without fear of getting left behind the bike. We also got to finish the nursery as Dad came in did work with the paintbrush. Awesome work Dad.
